Gastronomic Home

I drew and painted this one for the Portuguese Habits an Emigrant Does Not Leave Behind piece on Medium. Anyone who has ever seen me cooking, or even just spoken with me about food, knows I cannot live without olive oil, onion, and garlic. This is a homage to three of my favourite ingredients that I associate with Portugal, where I grew up.The drawing itself has numerous issues but also a few breakthroughs for me as a beginner in watercolour.
